Why doesn't my baby want to sleep in her crib ?

she was a micro preemie baby born at 25 weeks she's now 4 months old and came home yesterday but she does not want to sleep in her crib she was wide awake for 5 hours and she kept crying she only falls asleep in my arm or in her swing is that ok if she sleeps in her swing..

In the NICU, they keep them swaddled up. So make sure you’re keeping her swaddled. It’s what she is use to. Hope that helps.

probably because its a new enviornment. give her some time shes trying to find a sense of security in an unfamiliar place.

My daughter did the same thing! Although she was not premature. After a week or so of exhaustion I bought her a a Halo swaddle and it worked wonders. I tucked her arms into it and I believe she felt much more comforted. There's also something out there called a Zen Swaddle that is supposed to mimic a mothers touch and I've heard really good things about it, however I never had tried one. 
We also got a noise machine and that seems to soothe her as well.

She can sleep in her swing as long as she’s not able to roll and is buckled in. You also have to turn the swing off to reduce the risk of her tipping it over when she’s kicking and moving her arms. As long as it doesn’t become a habit do what you need to

My son was in the nicu for 15 days when he was born at 34 weeks and when we brought him home he did the exact same thing. It was tiring but we got lots of cuddle time I miss now that he's a year old. He eventually got used to being in his basinette but he preferred for the first month and a half to be cuddled or sleep in his bounce chair.
