Advice? Pregnant after MC

I’m wondering if anyone has a successful pregnancy after a miscarriage but didn’t get their period? I had a Mc end of August and had surgery in September. I have yet to get my period but I got a strong positive opk Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Is that normal? I’m really hoping this will be the month. Any advice would be great

I had a miscarriage back in February of 2012 never got my period after 6 wks so took a test b it was + and I now have a healthy soon to be 5yr old in 6days!!!! Take a hpt sometimes opks can detect hcg and give you a +

My doctor told me to wait to try again until I get my first period after a miscarriage ( I had a d&c;) he said that if I didn’t wait for one period my chances were much higher to have another one. That was in April. I’m now almost 5 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby 😊
