My son turned one October 5th. The past month or so he has slept awful! We did move into a new house a few weeks before he turned one which is around the time the sleep issues began. It started with him not wanting to go to bed alone. I shrugged it off we were in a new place he wasn’t used to the house yet. So, i would go to bed with him and then move him into his bed. Then it was waking up every couple of hours. Then it was SCREAMING in the middle of the night bloody murder until I take him out of his bed and he’d fall back to sleep in mine. I can’t get him to fall asleep in his own bed. I can’t get him to stay in his own bed. I try to let him cry it out but I can’t do it.. he won’t give up. He will scream and scream. One day he screamed until he puked. So, cry it out doesn’t work for him. I can’t even get him to nap in his bed! Most days he falls asleep on the couch to nap. I have an easier time getting him to nap than actually go to bed at night. Before a month ago he was in his own bed every night, slept all through the night and I could lay him in bed and he put himself to sleep. Now I’m really frustrated and neither of us are sleeping good. I feel like I’ve tried everything and I could really use some advice.
