Gender neutral nursery

I have started brainstorming about our baby's room, and just don't know what to do! We are not finding out the sex, so definitely need a gender neutral theme. We did green and jungle animals with our first, so I do not want to do that again. We really want to do something with white and old gold (we are huge Georgia Tech fans!) and I was thinking of adding gray and maybe even some aqua/teal to that. I also like the elephants that are popular and I want use chevron! But, will this work for a boy? The chevron especially. And if we go with these colors I will probably use white furniture..is that considered "girly"? I am sure in the end it doesn't really matter, but wanted to see if anyone with a design eye had some insight! Thanks!
