Do I like him or do I like the attention?

Hey everyone! I'm struggling with something at the moment, I think I have feelings for my friend but I'm not sure if it's the fact that he's a nice guy and I don't have a lot of experience with nice guys or that I'm not used to getting any attention that's not sexually motivated. I know logically that my insecurities are only combatted by attention from the opposite sex but this guy is great and he's teaching me what a guy should treat me like. Someone who's been in the same situation please give your wisdom!
