Ok so I have a bisexual friend and she hates when I say "finding out you are gay or discovering this" can you tell me the correct terminology for this? Please 😳😐😖

Maybe it is because you are implying that she is gay rather than bisexual because as a bisexual woman I know that sometimes being referred to as gay rather than bi can be frustrating but you should ask her why it bothers her and ask what other wordings you should use.
