I'm 26 weeks pregnant, and starting at 24 weeks, I began having contractions. I've been in the hospital twice now the second time I had to be given medication to stop the contractions. I'm drinking lots of water, and now I'm being put on Procardia as needed to try and control uterine irritability. I don't know anyone else who has experienced this, and I'm feeling so alone. My husband is being so supportive, and work is being understanding, but are there other women out there who have experienced preterm labor? I'd love to know I'm not alone and I'd love to know how others got through this difficult and scary experience.
