I was told you have to wait until 6 week check up then the doctor needs to give you the all clear and you have to be fit enough to perform an emergency stop... I've got my appointment in a weeks time I'm hoping he ok's me as I really miss driving!!

Me too.Its tough not to be able to drive and had to wait for mom/husband to get off work to go get some groceries

My doctor said as soon as I was off the narcotic pain killers (I had complications and a lot of pain so took Oxycodone for two weeks and then Vicodin for another), and as soon as I could hop on one foot with no pain, I could start driving. The idea behind hopping on one foot is that it's similar to performing an emergency stop. I've been driving since about 4.5 weeks after my c section.
