I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I think you can. I don't think that's an ok excuse for cheating or anything like that, but I think you can feel very deeply for more than one person. I don't know why you couldn't... If you are in that place though, its probably best not to be in a relationship because being torn between more than one person is going to keep you from being truly dedicated to either & can end in a lot of hurt.
