Am I overreacting? A bit long

Chef Cara • Currently cook for a fine dining restaurant in Traverse City. Single, 29, chef, would love to be a mom someday.
I recently jumped back into the dating game before I knew how busy my life would be right now. Anyway I have been talking to this guy. He seems like a great guy. He knows my schedule and that I have a very busy lifestyle 7 days a week. I go to class 3 days a week and work 4 days a week. We talk constantly but lately I haven't been able to reply back to him because we got busy at the restaurant because the golf course opened last week so we were swamped. By time I got off work it was after midnight and I know he was sleep because he has to get up early for work. He does text me back to back if I don't reply back soon. Which I hate because he knows I work or I'm in class and I'll get to him as soon as I can. I also go to school and I have class from 1230-510 but I don't get home until 6 but I do try to text him after I finish my homework unless it's really late. On Wednesday I don't get back until 1030. But I have a midterm and final exam in a couple days and I really need to study because I'm retaking these classes because last quarter I missed both by a few points so I really need to focus. Well anyway I get out of class today and I have a Facebook notification saying that I have a friend request. I looked at it and it's from him. I never gave him my Facebook account or even told him I had one. I never had that happen before usually people ask. Not everybody has a Facebook. I haven't accepted it yet. It's that creepy or am I overreacting? I think I'm just thinking of it as would if it never works out and he's a friend on my profile.
