Left side pain

I'm currently 8 weeks and 4 days. For the past two days I've had a pretty much constant dull ache that radiates from the top of my left hip down to the top of my pubic bone and a pinching feeling in the bottom of my lower back on the left. Once in a while I get twinges of pain on the right and in the middle of my stomach. it's a mild pain nothing close to severe and I'm just wondering if this is normal? This is my first pregnancy and my first official prenatal appointment is tomorrow morning. I've already had (at the hospital) blood work to confirm and an ultrasound that showed the baby was in the center of my uterus. Thank you for the advice.
