How do I know if I'm going into labor ???

Please don't judge but I am 36 weeks almost 37 Tuesday and I have been having very bad back pain all day to where I want to cry and now I'm starting to cramp could this be a sign of labor

Could be. I know everyone says “you won’t second guess if you’re in labor or not when you actually go into labor” but sometimes that’s just not the case. Everyone is different. Give your OB a call & see if she wants you to come in to get checked.

When I went into labor at 38 weeks I had terrible back pain and cramps that would only last a minute but happened every five minutes or so and kept getting closer together.

It's possible. It's different for everyone.it never hurts to call.
