Knuckle cracking noise coming from belly!?

Question

Has anyone heard a sort of knuckle cracking noise coming from their belly!? And it's not my ribs cracking, I hear it sometimes when baby sticks out her butt! My midwife almost didn't believe me, but now my husband and sister have hear it too! The Internet seems to think it may be popping of bubbles in the amniotic fluid.

Omg I hear it too! I thought I was imagining it! My husband thought it was funny that I described it like that, but it's exactly like when you crack your knuckles

I don't get knuckle cracking sounds, but I do get this weird sound that kind of reminds me of when you're cleaning glass. I just assume it's baby rubbing on the sides of the womb.

I had this too. Dr said she's heard several women mention that they've had it too. They don't really know what it is... One dr at my clinic said it could be mom's tendons popping or baby's hips popping. I'm proud to say I have a perfectly healthy baby girl! Who knows what it is, but it's never proven to be anything abnormal is what my dr said...
