When they're sick it's helpful. I've used one once or twice with my 18 month old. But friends who have babies who get sick a lot get way more use out of them! I just bought a cheap one for like $15 at Walmart when I went to buy baby Tylenol for her cold

We haven’t bought one yet and my daughter is two months. We haven’t needed one though
