I️ am considering doing the NT ultrasound and NIPT blood work to screen for chromosomal abnormalities. My insurance covers non-invasive prenatal testing but I’m not sure if it’s good to have or know. Has anyone ever gotten the test done and was happy to have the results?

I’m at a crossroads, I️ want to do the screening to know if there is any abnormalities (and the early gender detection, obviously 😉) but I’m really wondering if it’s worth spending the money on I️t.

Any opinions or experiences you’ve had with the tests?
