no erection

My SO has type 2 diabetes and he is going to be 47 yrs of age. Im 34 yrs old and always in the mood. Sometimes I try not to get disappointed when he can't get hard. Yes he is taking meds taking a shot and his blood pressure is always up. We are ttc I hope his sperm count doesnt get affected by his diabetes. I don't believe he would want to go to the doctors because he thinks we can get pregnant with no help but I think different.
