Bottles after 1?

My daughter turns one a week from Wednesday.  We breastfeed and she drinks breastmilk from s bottle 3x a day while I’m at work. Is there a need after one for bottles to continue? Can’t we just give my milk to her in a cup? I am not looking to actively wean but it would be nice not to have to pump at work anymore. Do I start giving her some cows milk?

You can absolutely stop the bottles and replace with cows milk in a sippy. Some people do it really slowly mixing breastmilk and cows milk and increasing the cows milk untold it’s just milk. Personally I let my son try some cows milk in a few occasions and since he no reaction I just stopped giving his noon bottle and would give him a sippy cup of milk with lunch instead. Just stop one bottle at a time and not all three at once.

I gave my daughter a sippy cup at 6 months. So now when I pump to go out 1-2 times a month she drinks it out of a sippy cup. I think the sooner you can wean her from a bottle the better just because after one they can start having negative affects on her mouth.  I know it’s a little different though since my daughter probably hasn’t had as much bottles...
