Idk about other people but I sometimes feel like other women make it a competitionS there’s literally like ten of us all in the same age group that are pregnant within a couple months of each other and some of them are racing to post their maternity pictures and nurseries and stuff to get the most likes on social media.... I’m not even done painting my nursery yet and I’m 31 weeks 😅

Idk about competition but mom shaming and comparing is a real thing. Some people look at others kids and go "Why isn't my kid doing _____ already? Becky' s baby is!" then they freak out thinking somthing is wrong with their kid. Those are the two biggest issues in parenting I think

as a person trying for 2.5 years, I feel like I'm competing to have my 1st before everyone has their 2nd or 3rd!
