Ovulation and sex

Usually glow is spot on when I ovulate. I could sorta tell I was ovulating by my cm when I had sex Saturday and ever since then I've had a decrees of cm when it should be increasing. I really don't think I ovulated early due to being sorta dry. Can anyone tell me why this could be?
