positive OPKs?

I’ve had positive OPKs for the last 3-4 days. Is that possible?

Yes. You may have caught the surge early some people have surges last 4-5 days. Mine last 3 or 4 when I get them it is perfectly normal. Only your first positive will count though nothing after.

You should not be too concerned if you have been taking an ovulation test for a few days straight and they have all been positive for each of those days. This is because you should only rely on the first positive test. Once the ovulation test tests positive for the LH surge, it will continue to test positive throughout the surge. If your surge is two days long then you will have a positive ovulation test for 2 days in a row. After that first positive test, you can stop testing if you like. One true positive is all you need to know that you will be ovulating within 24 to 48 hours.

I know the original post was a few weeks ago but I thought I’d mention that I used that brand twice (Walgreens, right?) and I got a ton of “positives”. Once I switched to wondfo, I realized that those positives probably weren’t real. I’m sure there was an actual positive in there somewhere but it made it harder to pinpoint when I actually ovulated.

Are the test lines darker than the control lines on all of them? Or just faint lines?

your first positive is the only one that counts. And ovulation should occur 12-36 hours AFTER the +. 12 being the shortest, 24 being average and 36 being the longest. good luck.
