Due August 4th with baby boy! AHHHH I just can't wait. BUT I DO HAVE A SERIOUS QUESTION I have been having severe ankle pain and swelling and I was wondering if any moms ever wore any type of ankle braces and did they help?! TIA :)

I've heard severe swelling of the legs/ankles/hands could mean preeclampsia I'd get that checked out! I had that with my first child & I had to have an emergency c-section at 7 1/2 months!!! GL

These are my sweet ankles. My OB gave me compression socks. They seem to help. I also ice them.

Thank you guys!!! I work 40 hours a week and I'm a dog groomer so I'm on my feet all day everyday. And don't have time to elevate my feet until I get home. But thank you u will deff contact my doctor

I have a love/hate relationship with compression stockings.  They aren't the easiest to get on (mine happens to be full length) but really help with swelling. Especially with long days on your feet.  Ask your doctor for a prescription.  If insurance doesn't cover them, they are expensive. I have found them to be worth the money.

Agreed with previous poster if swelling is severe get checked out. I have mild swelling at 26 weeks now every day as soon as I start walking around (none of my shoes fit im wearing sandals all the time lol) but it's not severe by any means.

Elevate your feet for half an hour a couple times a day and drink TONS of water to help bring down swelling.
