Less, because I have a basic understanding of crime statistics and history.

I think the world has always been dangerous and horrible events happen all the time. It's just that we live in a time that news travels extra fast and we become more knowledgeable about events that are occurring around the world, nearly the minute it happens.

Less dangerous but we certainly have normalized mass violence. I don’t remember time before school shootings and terrorist attacks weren’t the norm.

I voted less because I'm pretty sure that's a fact that the world is a lot less dangerous than it use to be. But for me personally I feel less safe than I ever have, and that's probably down to the media scaring the shit out of me about the terrorist attacks happening but I'm super paranoid none the less 😶

Looking at history, definitely less. Disease and illness killed off much of the population, plots against you could have you 'lawfully' killed with little to no evidence. Murder and rape wasn't treated as it was now (especially during war). Minorities had a lot less rights and racism/sexism was a lot more prevelant...

Definitely less. Hell I’d probably be dead by now if I lived any earlier and so would many other people of marginalised groups. Can someone explain to me how it could be more? Because I feel like that would come from a very biased perspective (obviously all are, by particular so), because even with the threat of terrorism and all, I still think it’s less dangerous overall.

I think it depends on who you are.

More because I'm a sophomore in college and know way too many girls who have been sexually assaulted and raped whose attackers have faced no consequences. Makes me wonder how many more untold stories there are. I know (unfortunately) that people have been sexually assaulted for many years now but with college becoming more and more prominent I think it's becoming more likely. Especially if you're involved in Greek life
