What do you really need for a baby?

I decided to make a baby registry but i dont know what else to put.
I know that not everyone buy something from that list but i wanted to know everything the baby is going to need. I still want to buy everything from that list that i dont receive from the baby shower..

This is my list i got so far is this
Crib
Mattress
Diaper bag
Diapers
Wipes
Burping cloth 
Bib
Gloves
Hat
Grooming kit
Detergent
Bottles

Please let me know what else i need

One of the best things I did was take mommy friends with me to finish my shopping. So I would recommend that if it's something you can do my bff made the trip for my shower which helped a ton but when she wasn't there I asked other women in the baby section lol all of them were extremely nice and helpful. You'll definitely want the basics like diapers, wipes, car seat, stroller. I would also recommend nursing tanks if you're planning on breast feeding Only get a few bottles so you can try them out and see which ones baby will take the best. All of my friends swear by their bouncers. You might want to think about a monitor. And I've heard a boppy is a must!

You can put in random names in a registry and see what they registered for. Some sites also have lists to recommend products or show what others did.
You'll need crib sheets, blankets, clothes, bottle nipples, changing pad, carseat, stroller, maybe a bouncer/swing or seat of some type.

I did a baby registery for personal reasons. I dont intend on giving it out because everything i want id rather buy myself then have to rely on others. My husband is buying the essentials like crib, sheets, rocker & bathtub. I will purchase blankets, pacifiers soaps, shampoos, lotions & bottles. My mom is buys our crib mattress & my mother in law is throwing a baby shower so we will ask her to tell guest to purchase diapers, wipes & clothes. Whatever we lack before the baby comes we will purchase .

1. Pack n play ( we are using a pack n play instead of a crib. I'm not a fan of cribs)
2. Cloth diapers
3. Pjs
4. Sleep sacks
5. Onesies 
6. Socks
7. Car seat
8. Breast pump (comes with three containers so I will just buy nipples and use those for bottles)
9. Diaper bag (bought it for $15, used)
10. Boppy pillow (bought it for $5)
11. Boba wrap
12. Diaper sprayer
13. Wet bags
14. Bouncer

Baby bath, shampoo, body wash, a little sponge, rinsing cup, towels etc.

Lotion and baby oil

I would get one or two of a few different bottles (if you plan to use any) so that you can switch if baby doesn't like one.

Stroller

Diaper bag

Infant medicine (Tylenol for fever reduction if your doctor ever reccomends it) and first aid. (Thermometer)
Also maybe get extras of these for the diaper bag

Portable changing pad for diaper bag.
 
Monitor

Baby safe q tips (you will also use these when cleaning the umbilical cord)

Blankets blankets blankets. There will be accidents and sometimes they will happen way too close to each other. Be prepared to run out of clean ones before you have time for laundry.

Most of the comments have the other things covered :) I really like the idea of taking some mommy friends with you to shop.
