Late period and boyfriend freaking out

Ok so my period was supposed to start Thursday me and my boyfriend had sex on Saturday (multiple times) and it’s now Tuesday and I still haven’t gotten my period. My period is usually kinda irregular and like I’ve had some cramps and stuff but just no blood what should I do? My boyfriend is freaking out because he’s terrified of being a teenage dad and not giving his kids as good of a life as he could if we were living on our own and had jobs. What should I do to help because now we won’t have sex for a long time because he gets scared. I mean that was the first time we had sex in a month because my period was off the last time and he got scared. I don’t know what to do because I understand he’s scared but I don’t want to pause our sex life just because my period is irregular. I’m going to be starting an epidural once my next period ends and I’ll only get it every 3 months. Then again we won’t be having has much sex as we could be having if my period was regular. HELP ME PLEASE!!!
