Birth Control Pills

So, I've been on birth control for two weeks, 14 days. The Lolo birth control pills. I'm 16 y/o. I was taking birth control the same time everyday for the first week but then i was taking it random times every day which shouldn't really be a big deal as my doctor told me. I'm a smoker and I don't know if that can mess the birth control up , can birth control still work and be 99% effective if I'm a smoker and I haven't been taking it the same time every day? I want to have sex with my boyfriend but I don't know if the birth control will work 99% effective. Is it too early? Can smoking make it not work? And me not taking it same time every day make it not work ????Thank you :)
