It sucks. It really sucks. Nobody ever tells you about how hard it is to actually see your child in pain and know that you helped cause it.

EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO,

Please be kind to parents when they express apprehension or worry. It’s not fun to know your baby is in pain, it’s not fun to deal with the fever, the swollen legs, the stuffy nose and the aching stomach.

It’s necessary but that doesn’t mean it’s a breeze.

And just because your child was fine the next day or even fine after five minutes, it doesn’t mean children like mine or others don’t experience negative side effects.
