Mother's Age & Your Age were you both past 35?

Question

Just curious if having a mother that had you at an older age impacted your decision to have a baby at an older age.  (My mother was 43 when she had me, I will be 36 when my baby is born in April).

My mom was 25, and I’ll be 36 (or 35, if he comes early). I didn’t met my husband until I was 30, and we struggled with infertility after we married.

My mom was 21 when she had me. I’m 38 when mine will be born.  It wasn’t a matter of age impacting when I had a baby, this is literally just when it finally happened.

I will be nearly 37 when my baby is born. My mom was 25 when I was born. I met my fiancé at a later age than my mom met my dad. Maybe because I moved to the San Francisco Bay area for 11 years, and people there don't get married & have kids as quickly as they do in Oklahoma.

My mother is 30 years older then me. She had me when she was 30. Had my brother at 28. I had my 1st at 33, 2nd at 36, and now having my 3rd at 37.

Oh wow this just made me start thinking about how old I would be if my kids waited until the age I was to start having kids and it’s kind of depressing...I would be an old grandparent. My mom had me when she was 20, my grandmother had my mom at 20 as well, and my great grandmother was just 17 and just passed away only last year.

My mothers age was 35 when she had me(6th child) went onto have two more at 37 and 40. I'm now having only number 2 at age 38, hope to have number 3 right at 40. My first son I was 20.

My mother was 40 when she had her third. I'll be 35 when I have my third. Both of us had 2 babies back to back in our early/mid 20s, then a third 15 years later. Kind of a weird coincidence :)
