Fertile days

So.. I'm wanting to get some opinions on ovulating. I'm not currently trying to conceive, however I will be in the next few months.

I've started tracking my cycles and trying to work out when I'd be ovulating.

Background-

* I came off the pill (microgynon 50) at the end of July after being on it for 5.5 yrs

* my cycles have been super long since coming off the pill, my first cycle was 39 days and my second cycle was 48/49 days (currently on my third cycle now)

* the last two cycles, I've been checking physical symptoms, such as cm, and I've also noticed my boobs getting quite tender a couple of weeks before my period (so I'm guessing this is a symptom of ovulation for me).

* I have been checking my cm daily so am in tune with the variations of my cm throughout my cycle

Today, I noticed that my cm was very watery and had that typical egg white consistency that you are supposed to get when you're fertile. So, I decided to do an ovulation test this afternoon. I did it, but the test showed I had low fertility.

My question is, why would I be getting this cm if my fertility is low?

Sidenote- my boobs are currently not sore and, with me having long cycles, I'm not 'supposed' to be fertile until next weekend.
