Is this gift too expensive for our first Christmas?

My boyfriend and I will be been dating for about 3 months around Christmas. He goes on runs often and goes to the gym to exercise so I though AirPods are the perfect gift for him. However I don’t want to seem too over the top. I have no idea what he’s planning to get me but I know this is the perfect gift for him I’m just not sure if it’s too much.

I’m getting my husband a toolset he keeps eyeing when we go to Lowe’s but won’t buy for himself because its expensive, so I snagged a pic of of it when he wasn’t looking so I can find it again without him.

If he could benefit from them and you can afford them, then why not? For me, it’s about true thought not the price tag. When my husband and I were dating, Christmas fell at our 6 month mark. He was deployed and was big into photography. However sand storms destroyed his cheap camera. So I bought him an $400 camera that had been recommended by multiple soldiers. He sit uses to this day....7years later. It was worth every penny

at 3 months together I'd get him headphones but not ones that cost that much. they do have nice nonapple headphones that are reasonably priced and would be more acceptable for such an early on relationship.

I️ think it’s fine, but I️ always tend to spend a lot on gifts. It depends on your financial situation. If you have to eat ramen noodles and Mac and cheese all month to make it happen, I️ would say it’s too much.

Clearly people here are cheap lol that’s nothing to me. My husband and I have always gone all out for Christmas no matter how long we’ve been together. If you think he’ll like them then go for it!

does he have one of those arm band things you can put your phone or iPod in when you run. if not maybe that might be a cheaper gift. try to get a thoughtful gift that's also under $100 that way you won't feel like you spent a lot.
