Depo shot

I got on the shot in April. I got my second shot the end of July and was supposed to get my third shot the 3rd of October. I didn’t get it due to my health insurance being cancelled. I’m just wondering if any one knows how long it will take before I get my period again? I had no spotting or bleeding at all while I was on the shot and I do have health insurance now but i wanna wait until I get my period again then I’m gonna go back on the pill.
