Week 13, med problem
So a few days ago I had to go to urgent care for dehydration to get IV fluids. I had incredible nausea that led to me vomiting probably about 25 times in 24 hours (no exaggeration!)... I couldn't keep a single thing down from water to Gatorade to ANY type of food or cracker.
I get the fluids and while there, they gave me a zofran to take. They said it would help with the nausea (which it did!), but they couldn't give me a prescription without my OBGYN consent.
I called my OB to tell them the story and asked if they could prescribe for me the zofran because it helped so much.
They told me that they don't "do" zofran anymore, and that they'd call me in a prescription for "reglan" I think they called it.
Now I had never heard of this anti nausea med so I of course looked it up, and almost every single person who has taken it left reviews saying that it gave them the worst anxiety of their lives, some said they wanted to crawl out of there skin, or run and keep running. Some said it made their mind race so much that thy wanted to KILL THEMSELVES!
So you can imagine my hesitation on taking this prescription...
My question is, anyone else have any experience with this med?
What were your experiences?
Thank you
