My baby girls is 5 weeks old, and to be honest the last few weeks have been harder than I thought.

I have always been a very maternal person (even as a kid) and have always wanted lots of kids, so I thought I would have this parenting thing DOWN!

Turns out, it's really tough.

My DH is busy with a project at work which has him working from 6am-7pm. My family live in a different city. I have no friends in the town I lief in (we recently moved here).

So I feel really alone. I'm just tired all the time.

Of course I love my baby girl to absolute bits - but it's been rough.

Sometimes I just feel alone in how I'm feeling, so thought I'd share my story in the hopes that I am not alone and that this is "normal".
