I’d call the dentist, they possible need to adjust the crown.. if it’s too big it can dig into the gums & cause irritation

Im a dental assistant and its normal to get irritated because the gums get swollen around the crown. Ibuprofen and make sure they keep that area clean, should heal if a few days!
