Meet Mateo Alejandro πŸ’™ long story πŸ™ƒ

Kenia

Finally decided to talk about my birth experience. It wasn’t what i was hoping for but thankfully everything went well and my baby was born healthy.

Friday October 13 I went in for my check up at 39 and days I was still only dilated 1cm since 38wks so thought I would be late WRONG! Friday night I felt like I leaked after I peed but I didn’t think it was enough for my water breaking. On Saturday I was talking with my sisters and I told them and they freaked out saying it must be my water and to call the on call nurse and so I did and they told me to go to L&D; at that point my mucus plug had come out, went there got checked and NOTHING πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ was still only 1cm but they told me I was having contractions every 3min which I didn’t feel so I thought that was great πŸ™ŒπŸΌ I still got sent home.

Sunday is when the fun started, i woke up at 6am with contractions every 3min but the pain wasn’t bad so I didn’t think I should go to the hospital but when I went to the restroom I saw some blood and naturally I panicked 😩 FTM here. Anyways, called nurse again and told me to continue monitoring pain and if more severe to come in. Went to the store and walked around the contractions never stopped and were still every 3min, went to my sisters house around 7pm for dinner and had steak πŸ˜‹ then the pain got more intense, I called again and they told me to come in and so I went around 9pm and was already 4cm so I got admitted, my plan was to do it naturally and only asked for IV meds but by 12am my pain was so severe I was SHAKING 😭 my body needed a break from the pain and so i got the epidural 😏, I was a little relieved and was able to sleep 😴. 3am got checked again and was 7cm but my water was still intact so they said they would check me again in the morning πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ my doctor came in and at this point I was feeling the pain again, she broke my water and started Pitocin I felt like I was going to die 😨 but after and hour the doctor came and I was at 10cm πŸ€— it was time to start pushing I honestly thought it would be easy, anyways it took maybe 10-15 minutes of pushing , hubby passing out in between and two tears and baby was out. Still a little disappointed about the epidural but just happy everything went well πŸ™πŸΌ πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Now at 3 weeks πŸ’™πŸ’™

Thanks for reading, sorry it’s so long 😘
