Vagina feels really tight and swollen?

So, im almost due ! I do not wanna go past my due date and have to be induced. So I'm trying natural ways to induce my own labor ... one of the ways is inserting primrose oil into the vagina (idk if it works or not.. wtv) but I was trying to insert the capsule and I couldn't !! I couldn't insert 1/3 of my finger without it being painful .. it is just really tight and swollen ?! Anyone experiencing this? Or has experienced? Is this normal ?
