Bright red spotting?

Question

Waiting on someone from my Drs office to call me back but has anyone had any spotting this pregnancy? I'm 33 weeks now and don't know if it's normal or not.

I've had spotting, light and heavy since about 20 weeks on and off.
I was diagnosed  with placental abruption. 
It's definitely worth getting checked to be sure. 
I was put on bedrest and have been admitted 4 times already for it.
Steroid were given to me for growth and development of the baby at 26 weeks. 
I'm now 32 wks 3 days and still pregnant. Just being monitored closely and weekly appts

I've had 3 episodes of it. More specifically 3 clots and blood all in the toilet, I have had cramps and felt like I had to go to the bathroom. When I went, I bled all over the toilet....I was told to go to labor and delivery each time. I have been there a total of almost 2 weeks total. They have kept me each time for monitoring. In the end I have a chronic abruption. So I'm on moderate activity and was given steroids incase she delivers early....every time I have to go to the bathroom, but her strong kicks reassure me that she is doing alright. Id say go to L&D for monitoring just to be safe!

Was it in your underwear or when you wiped? My doctor said if I spot to find a pad and put it in to watch it (I haven't had any so haven't done it). It might be some mucus plug? Keep us updated!
