Can a cyst me mistaken?

I went to the doctor and a parent I have a cyst can that be a pregnacy?

Answer

I had a sonogram that showed a right cyst in my ovary then a week later I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy in my tube. Dr who did surgery saw no cyst in my right ovary and believes what they were calling a cyst was the baby. So yes I do believe they can mistake a cyst for a pregnancy or at least in my situation they did!
