Two vessel cord, possible heart defect😰

So today we had our anatomy ultrasound scan for our little boy. I’m 21 weeks pregnant.

We found out his umbilical cord only has two vessels, one artery and one vein.

But it’s suppose to have three, two arteries and one vein.

This causes the babies growth to be smaller since he won’t be getting as much nutrition from the cord, so he is only in the 20th percentile.

We also have to go to a facility who has more high tech machines to do another anatomy scan and make sure he doesn’t have anything wrong with his heart. They said they couldn’t get a good enough picture with the equipment they have.

I’m trying to stay positive but I’m so scared for my innocent little man.
