I work as a hostess at a local restaurant, I’ve been there for about four months and everything has been great except for this one server in her early 20’s who makes it her job to make sure I know that I’m a complete moron and that she could have me fired. I don’t have a problem with anyone else really, my bosses love me, the bartenders like me, and most other servers at least are patient with me or help me learn how to do my job better by giving me pointers. It started my first week with snarky remarks on how I wouldn’t fold my napkins the right way or I’d carry my glasses too close together, but then it became her taking the map from the host desk and redrawing the layout, getting mad at me for not rotating properly, or cleaning up a broken plate after I’ve clocked off with a rag rather than a broom. I know I’m new and I’m only sixteen, it’s my first job, and I’m the ignorant little shit that is a complete kiss-ass, but at the same time I don’t feel like this behavior towards me is okay. Most days now it’s borderline bullying and I want to do something about it, but I don’t know what I even can do. Please help!!
