Can I make it in film ??

Is it realistic enough to go into tv and film production/ broadcasting. I want to do the behind the scenes work like editing. I just don’t know becuase the pay seems low and it seems risky but its the only career

I get kinda excited about. I’m a junior in HS rn.

Hey! I'm a senior in HS and I AM going into film this next year and something many people will tell you when researching this particular field is that there is not a whole lot of women in film. 
So, really, you sure as hell can get into it and "make it" so to speak. It's all about who you know, a lot of which happens at the college you choose to attend or if you learn online, through people you reach out to. 
I am going to say if that's something you're even vaguely interested in, try it.
