Correcting everyone your whole life is a pain. Also the letter Y is not really a substitute for every letter of the English alphabet, even though people treat it that way.

Any name ending with -son feels male because it means 'son of' in your case 'addi'.. It's a scandinavian way of naming your son. If it continues to bother you I would look into names close to Addison that sound more feminine such as Adeline, Avelyn, Evelyn, Anne-Lynn, Amber-Lynn, Emma-Lynn 😘
