Isla // yay or nay?

Hi Ladies,

I’m expecting a little girl and since I heard the name Isla I loved it. It’s not a very common name here in South Africa yet, but I’ve read quote a few articles online that it’s a very common name in US and a lot of people struggle to pronounce it correctly (Eye-La).

I have a little boy called Aidan and I think the two names go quite nice together, Aidan & Isla.

Whats your thoughts? Is it a very common name in your country and do people struggle to pronounce it correctly?
