Ok so a few months back, July or wishlist we came home to our smart tv on in our baby’s room. She wasn’t born yet but we assumed it was a glitch but was a used tv. We never had a smart tv with apps on it before and we had just got it. It was only going to be in baby’s room.

Didn’t really think anything of it only a couple other times I have come to baby’s room with her tv on and the remote wouldn’t turn it off. Again I thought nothing of it. Remote was on the floor where I left it and I assumed cats a accidentally turned it on.

Fast forward to this morning at 6 am. I have to pump. I’m in pain bc of a clogged duct and it’s unusual for me to get up or even pump so early. Baby is up too and she’s happy so me and her go to her room (baby sleeps in our room) and I put her in her swing, i turn on a cute cartoon and I sit on the opposite side of her to pump.

Then I hear “ahhhhhhh!” Coming from her monitor. The camera is facing her as usual but the camera is OFF! We keep them off bc we are not using them until I got to work. So anyway, I’m quiet and I hear it again. I immediately text my husband who’s at work and ask if that’s him on the camera and he texts back and says no.

So I automatically yanked the pump off me, unplugged camera and turned it around, grabbed my baby and left. Husband called the cops and well nothing can be done.

We changed passwords, my hubby called the inet company, the router company, the monitor company. Nothing! I’m so angry and feel so violated and creeped out.

We spend all this money trying to secure our homes and our lifestyle to make sure our newborn is safe and it isn’t!

I’m so angry! I was in near tears. My poor baby! Some asshole really was trying to scare my baby girl!

Thing is we have changed her in there, we have dressed her too. I’ve breastfed her in there! Who knows what all they saw!

In relation to the tv, someone hacked that then. It only makes sense. To scare us? Idk but it’s ridiculous too!
