At first it just feels like baby is stretching out in there. Like a head or a butt is trying to break out. Then if they get bad enough, still don’t really hurt, but they take your breath way. Feels like someone decided to squeeze your lungs.

For me, it's like my lower stomach would just feel tight. I'd feel it getting up from sitting, and especially so when I had to go pee. I noticed them more when I wasn't drinking enough water too. Sometimes a little uncomfortable but not painful.

Didn’t have them as much with my first two... but this last pregnancy I️ feel them a lot ever since 29 weeks consistently. Damn near takes my breath away at times ... some I️ have to breath through and not talk lol

I had them with all of my pregnancies. Earlier with the more recent ones. But I just felt a tightening of my lower stomach muscles for a brief few seconds, made me feel out of breath for a second then gone. Not painful.

4/4 pregnancies started getting Braxton Hicks around 20 weeks. For me it's just a tightening feeling for a few seconds every few minutes. My belly feels hard to the touch and then it releases. Later in my previous pregnancies they got a little painful, kind of crampy, but definitely not unbearable. Similar to gas pain, but with my whole abdomen being tight. They would sometimes last up to a minute, but came at weird, inconsistent intervals.
