Sun Therapy
I suffer from multiple chronic illness including major depressive disorder which tends to get worse in winter. There have been studies that connect this with lack of sunlight and while I cannot speak for everyone, I know this is true for me.
So, I have decided to try to alter my sleep schedule to wake up with sunrise. I’m hoping this gives me more time to enjoy the day and improve my mood.
I know 7 am is not that early for most people but it’s not that easy to get up in the morning when you have depression.
