So worried and scared
I went to the high risk doctor because I have high cortisol. She said we will try to get to 39 weeks but I might deliver as soon as 32 weeks due to complications. I know many ladies have delivered this early and even earlier and their babies were fine. The doctor also said with my high cortisol it puts me at a higher risk for gestational diabetes and preeclampsia. I also have an abnormal uterus so they have to closely monitor the baby to make sure there is enough room. I'm only 18 weeks and I feel like this is going to be the longest wait of my life. With high cortisol you aren't supposed to be able to have children so this baby was a huge surprise. I am getting checked for benign tumors next week that can be the source of the high cortisol. I will go through anything and everything to have a healthy baby. I have prayed and prayed for everything to be alright. I tested negative for Down's syndrome and all the other tests they ran which surprised the doctors so I don't know what to think or how to feel. If anybody has any experience or positive advice please feel free to share.
