Painful orgasms at nearly 25 weeks pregnant?

The last time my partner and I had sex (a couple of weeks ago), I had quite a painful orgasm that caused me to recoil a bit but afterwards I felt fine and didn’t think anything of it. The next day I woke up and had some minor bleeding, I rang my midwife and they sent me straight to my maternity assessment unit to be checked over (I’m high risk of pre eclampsia and taking 75mg of aspirin daily) and the doctor did a speculum examination and couldn’t see any more signs of bleeding and just put it down to ‘cervix irritation’, checked baby and everything was fine, just told me to go home and carry on as normal and that I could still have sex if I wanted to.

Needless to say the whole ordeal put me off sex for a bit, but tonight my partner and I decided to have sex and I experienced another one of these painful orgasms.. I did some research and it says that it’s normal to feel cramping AFTER an orgasm, but no one has said anything about cramping and pain DURING an orgasm so I’m just wondering if any ladies on here have experienced the same thing?

Before and in early pregnancy I have always had a high sex drive, but worrying that I’m going to hurt my baby or do any damage is putting me off having sex 😔😔 I’m due to see my midwife tomorrow but I’m just curious as to any other ladies have experienced the same thing and what you did about it x
