For me early labor was a lot like period cramps.... but after a few hours... no. just no.

Nope. But at least they come and go and arent this horrible constant ache, and plus you get a baby out of it. So I would rather have labor than period cramps. But maybe I am crazy. XD

Oh girl no. So much worse. They say to stick your hand in a bowl of ice water for as long as you can handle—once you’re incredibly uncomfortable, hold it there for 30 more seconds, and that’s the closest you’ll get to understanding the pain of ONE contraction.

It’s kind of like a period cramp but sharper and involves your whole stomach, not just your uterus. But you honestly forget what contractions feel like! I can barely remember and my guy is a year and a half. You can do it!

I personally do not think it's even close to period cramps...and I had some bad cramps.  but it is literally the worst pain you forget the quickest.  As soon as I had my epidural, all the pain was forgotten.  it's worth every minute of the pain.  Don't be scared, you got this!!!
