My husband's son calls me by my name. he is 8. and his daughter calls me mommy sometimes and by my name sometimes. she is 2. I don't care what they call me. it's their choice. I'm happy with whatever and will love him no matter what!

My moms dating this guy and he's nice but I would never call him dad EVER. He's simply not my dad. I have a dad, that I call dad lol. My children won't call him grandpa either if it gets that far. So I'd never force my children to call someone who is not there father, dad.

Obviously if the relationship was serious enough, but they shouldn’t be calling him “dad” or whatever if I’ve literally only been dating him 2 weeks
