Ovulating right?

So I did a ovulation test first thing today morning. And it some up with the below. So this means I'm ovulating. When would t be the best time t have intercorse Iv been TTC for 8 months now. And when ovulating is there a certain amount of time you can get caught in (
days hours)

I use the clear blue opk too it's the 1st time I've used them this month, but I've not had one smiley face? 
When's best time to test..? 
Could it be possible that I didn't ovulate this month? That's never happened before

Iv been doing the clear blue ovulation test for the past 3 weeks or so. Iv only just got the smiley face today. 
I'm well over my period im over by 31 days last time I had my period was in August. I haven't had one since but at the same time I'm not pregnant because all my tests are coming back negative. From the advice I got it seems k had not ovulated that's why I haven't had a period for so long. But hopefully I'll be ovulating properly this month. Just keep trying the test every morning with your first urine of the day (morning one) and see what happens. I know it's disheartening when you see the circle I seen that for ages but don't give up keep on doing the tests and hopefully you'll get a smiley face soon xx
